The Situation
An elderly parent's estate, no will in place
A family of four adult children contacted us shortly after their mother's passing. She had not left a will, and none of the family knew how the estate would be handled or who was responsible for organising it.
What We Did
We began with a single consultation, explaining the applicable provisions under the Distribution Act 1958 and setting out the administration process in plain terms. The family then engaged us to handle the documentation and formal proceedings on their behalf.
The Outcome
The estate was administered in full within four months. The family described the process as far less burdensome than they had feared. One sibling later wrote that our approach "took a great deal of the weight off a very difficult time."

The Situation
Advance planning for a family with young children
A couple in their early forties wanted to ensure their affairs were properly arranged, primarily to provide for their two young children. They felt uncertain about the process and were concerned about the complexity.
What We Did
A Legacy & Succession Guidance session was used to walk through the relevant considerations clearly. The couple found this was enough to proceed with confidence on their own, with a much clearer understanding of their options and responsibilities.

The couple left with a written summary of the guidance provided and felt equipped to take next steps. They commented that the session had "removed a long-standing source of anxiety" for both of them.

The Situation
A complex estate with contested elements
An estate that included property in multiple locations and a dispute between some beneficiaries over the interpretation of certain documents. The client — one of the beneficiaries — felt overwhelmed and did not know how to proceed.
What We Did
Warisan Adil took on formal representation, reviewing all documentation carefully and engaging with the other parties in a respectful and measured manner. Where disagreement arose, we sought resolution through clear communication before any formal action was required.
The Outcome
A resolution was reached that was acceptable to all parties without the need for contested court proceedings. The client stated that the calm, consistent approach had helped the family preserve its relationships through a difficult situation.
