• "You", "User", "Client" refers to any individual who accesses our website or engages our services.
• "Services" refers to the inheritance law services offered by Warisan Adil, including Legacy & Succession Guidance, Handling Documents & Records, and Formal Representation & Care.
• "Website" refers to the website accessible at waisqamas.world.
• "Agreement" refers to these Terms and Conditions and any engagement letter or service agreement entered into between you and Warisan Adil.
• "Content" refers to all text, materials, and information published on our website.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will use our services and website only for lawful purposes

3. Service Description and Availability

Warisan Adil provides inheritance and estate law services in Malaysia. Our three principal services are described on our website. The specific scope of any engagement will be agreed in writing before work begins.

Our services are available to individuals and families in Malaysia. We reserve the right to decline to act in any matter at our discretion, consistent with our professional obligations.

The information on our website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute legal advice. Formal legal advice is provided only within the context of a properly established client-solicitor relationship.

4. User Responsibilities

When using our website, you agree not to:

6. Fees and Payment

Our service fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and communicated to you before any engagement begins. Current fees are:

• Legacy & Succession Guidance: RM 240 per engagement
• Handling Documents & Records: RM 287 per engagement
• Formal Representation & Care: From RM 325 per engagement, scope-dependent

Payment is due in accordance with the terms set out in your engagement letter. We accept payment by bank transfer and selected electronic payment methods as notified at time of engagement.

Where an engagement does not proceed after an initial consultation, the consultation fee is payable. Fees for services already performed are not refundable unless Warisan Adil has acted in breach of its obligations.

7. Service-Specific Terms

Legacy & Succession Guidance

This service comprises a consultation and written summary. It does not constitute ongoing legal representation. Any further action based on the guidance is the client's own responsibility unless a separate engagement is agreed.

Handling Documents & Records

This service covers document preparation and organisation as described in the engagement letter. Timelines are estimated and may vary depending on the complexity of the estate and the responsiveness of third parties.

Formal Representation & Care

This service involves formal legal representation in estate and succession proceedings. The scope, timeline, and fee will be agreed in the engagement letter. We do not make promises regarding the outcome of any formal proceedings, which are subject to the decisions of courts and relevant authorities.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Warisan Adil's liability for any claim arising from the use of our website or services is limited to the fees paid by you for the specific service in question.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from the use of our website, save where such exclusion is not permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for breach of our professional obligations.

10. Termination of Engagement

Either party may terminate an engagement by written notice, subject to the terms of the engagement letter. Upon termination, fees for work performed to that point are payable.

Warisan Adil may cease acting in any matter where professional obligations require us to do so, or where there has been a material breakdown in the working relationship. We will endeavour to give reasonable notice and to avoid prejudicing the client's position.

11. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of any dispute arising from the use of our website or services, we encourage you to contact us first so that we can seek to resolve the matter informally.

If informal resolution is not possible, any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

Clients also have recourse to the Malaysian Bar's disciplinary process in relation to the professional conduct of our practitioners.

12. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These terms, together with any engagement letter, constitute the entire agreement between you and Warisan Adil in respect of the subject matter.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
• Changes to Terms: We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on our website. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
